I had my best day yesterday with adsense earnings, $3.90 !!
It looks like my new pages are doing well, I did some more and promoted them on some forums (I'll do some newsletters to subscribers too) and within a day they had hundreds of PV's and around 6% CTR which I am told is quite good!
The ads I put on my elottery site are doing well too, I changed from adsense to my own ads pointing to various other interests of mine but did them in the same style as adsense and they have been getting clicks! not only that, they are getting people as prospects. The grab a grand competition, the results by email and others are all getting at least one person a day entering their name and email address so I'm really pleased with that. I'm also really pleased with the php I wrote and added to the wordpress template that randomizes the placement and content of the ads. teehee the geek in me is proud.
Not expanding my empire for the adsense at the moment, I think it's important to do stuff that you are passionate about. If someone isn't interested in something, how can they make a site about it that's interesting? they can't!
I'm in this for the long term gain, no adsenser ever made a fortune in a week. It takes time and effort to build up a portfolio of websites. Sure, you could buy a whole set of ready made ones but so can anyone else. Not unique, not yours, not easy!
Onwards and upwards, multiple streams of income and list building is what I'm concentrating on now. It's been years since I started to do the internet thing and it's only the past 2 years that I've been making any money so now I'm up for making lots more!

62c for 1 click!
I made a single click earning of 62c yesterday. Because I use channels on my adsense settings I know where it came from and I know what to do about it... make some more pages just like the one it came from!
That's what I am going to try and do this week, it's spurred me on to make a portal site for the current pages too so lots of geeky things to play with this week.
My elottery business is going well too, some new members coming in and eager for some advice so hopefully they'll be able to listen to it and go and do something other than complain about how they have tried everything and it didn't work. Seriously, if they have tried 'everything' then what can I tell them? they would have done it already!

Adsense referrals add up!
I had my first day of adsense earnings going over 2 dollars yesterday! 1 dollar was from a firefox with google toolbar download. Sweet! Now I feel the need to make sure everyone I know has firefox installed when I visit their house. I don't care who it is, they iz gettin it!
My biggest click so far was for 34 cents which isn't bad. Just a few more thousand of them and I'm away.
My fake google ads seem to be working, 3 more prospects entered into the competition to win 1000 pounds and a couple more have subscribed to my How to Earn a Wage at Home series so looks like people prefer google type ads compared to simple internal links!!

Fake adsense code!
I have been getting a few clicks on my lottery site but mainly for less than 5 cents and more than likely, it went through to a competitors site. They got more clicks than my own personal banners so I decided to make fake google ads that all point to my own domains!
I whipped up a nifty bit of php to randomize the ads that are shown and slipped a call to it every 3 posts in the main wordpress loop.
They look quite good and I'm pleased with the results. (VWD Lottery Blog)
I've been a merry php'er this week and it's really satisfying to expand my geeky-ness. My training videos (as described in previous post) page has been php-ified after I learnt how to print the contents of a directory out. I went from a few lines of code on a snippet to a full dynamic page content made from php. Random blocks of adsense code fitted in between clickable links to all the videos found in the subdirectory. Oh what a great geeker I am!. (Affiliate Video Training).
Now time to make another site, as Wissam has done, he suggests making a turnkey site which I am more than capable of doing (especially with the right script!). I already have a couple PR4 sites and directories that are ready for something new so now to choose my subject....(suggestions?)

Make money with Camtasia
I've been making instructional videos for my lotto affiliates this week using Camtasia. It's a great package for showing someone exactly what they need to do and it's quite easy to edit and annotate too. I put some google ads on either side of the production and if someone finds one of them interesting they give it a click!
My latest video is at this page and has already had a click! I haven't even put the URL out to my team yet. My lotto blog is only making a few cents a day now. The problem is there isn't enough lottery adsense out there seeing as google doesn't like gambling in any way. It was ok to start because many lottery affiliates try out google for advertising (until their ads get removed) and many visit my blog. When they see someone advertising a lottery syndicate on adsense they automatically click it to see what the competition is like and I get a few pennies.
I'm not sure the space could be used more profitably with my own ads though...hmmm maybe I will make some ads for my own things but put them up just like adsense code. No-one used to click the banner I had for my grab a grand page when it was there but there have been multiple clicks on the adsense banner so time for a re-design methinks! Can't just rely on adsense to pay my rent!
I've started a new co-op venture with some experienced affiliates where we all put together and help each other out with a forced matrix type deal so everyone gets the same benefits. It's a pretty cool Lottery Syndicate and with the amount of experience we have all got, we should get it up to free play within a few weeks.
awesome!

Who else would work hours and hours for 30c ??
hehe, I have spent literally hours and hours trying to get some sort of working dynamic buttons on the Aardvark topsites script. It seems there is some issue with the cache. I just couldn't get it to work properly with dynamic buttons, they would show but then they wouldn't update so I went about searching for another topsite script.
Evotopsites was that script! I am a member of blogtopsites and I noticed that they didn't have any trouble with the dynamic buttons so I set about downloading the script but when you visit the publishers site, the button for downoading produces a 404 error. It seems nowhere on the internet has a hosted version to download either !! arrgh. :-)
I found a way to get it though!
yey!! ... you would think.... but no...
now I have to contend with a "permission denied" when I try and run the setup script. I did all the chmod's correctly, I tried and tried, different directories, diferrent chmods and finally I found out that my server doesn't allow a chmod of 777, it can only do as much as 755 which it turns out - is good enough!!
yey again!! .... you would think... but no...
now the evotopsites script works as admin but the public facing page blanks when the "register" button is clicked. damn.
although.... after much fiddling of buttons, I was able to revert it to an old template and now ...
it works!!
You can see it here.. Lottery Topsites
I think I'll see if I can change the layout later, right now I am pleased I got the bloody thing working.
and finally, adsense news...
The past 2 days have been a bit paupery, sub 50c days. Today I saw I had 4 clicks...but, they added up to 4c hehehe. never mind, this whole adsense journey is teaching me some good tricks
